Residential Data Solutions is an expanding company offering a set of services specifically designed for residential end users in northern Alabama, southern Tennessee and northeast Mississippi. Our company provide a set of services associated with everday consumer technological needs. These needs include high speed internet access, home computers, wired/wireless networking, home security, home automation and many aspect of audio/video entertainment such as plasma/LCD/DLP installations along with custom theater sound systems. However, not all services may be available to all areas. Currently, this applies primarily to security systems and this constraint is limited by licensing requirements since we are licensed for this only in the state of Alabama. That said, we are considering expanding these services to surrounding states in the future.
Most home owners are somewhat confused when it comes to many aspects of home electronics. With the number of electronic "gadgets" on the market and the demand for more capabilities out of those electronics, many have migrated outside of what can be understood by many home users. In the past, this has materialized as a reluctance by consumers to make many desired electronics purchases. Fear no more, we are here to help. Our expertise is wide and we will overcome all your concerns together.
Within the area of the actual electronics purchase, while our company can if requested, we encourage residential consumers to purchase their own equipment when considering highend audio and/or video electronics. Then, we provide the services associated with installation, training and maintenance as required. However, if a potential customer is planning to enlist our services for installation of equipment, Residential Data Solutions will be glad to assist customers through the process of acquiring the desired equipment free of charge . Also, in many cases, we may actually recommend particular companies based on previous experience. Why do we not like to "sell" this type of equipment? Simple, it is unrealistic for a small business such as ours to attempt competing with larger companies that can purchase in bulk. However, this is a choice of the consumer. We will be glad to purchase equipment on behalf of any customer for as little as a 25% purchase price deposit with the balance due upon installation completion. Be aware, some exceptions will apply regarding costly purchases. There is an added advantage regarding us performing actual equipment purchases. We actually take care of any warranty issues that may be encountered. All parts associated with that system will be covered by our company for one year from the time the customer takes possession of that system. Additionally, this is an in-home warranty . There is one service that requires no equipment purchase and this is wireless broadband access. We provide the internet service, supply, retain ownership and maintain all installed equipment. This is the only cost/maintenance effective solution for both the consumer and us as well.

Therefore, we offer a 15% discount on many installation costs and all services we provide for any senior citizen, veteran, as well as persons in "first response" public service. This includes law enforcement, fire/rescue and paramedic full-time employment.
